Violating Civil Rights

In our case, I remained in jail because the arresting officer kept my girlfriend's belonging inside our motorhome in which vandals stole her purse while we was incarcerated. If she had her ID, then she could had paid a bondsman to bail me out so that we can fight our case on the outside.

Also, my public defender had prolonged my case to the maximum time to bring a felony case to trial which is 60 days before releasing me on an Own Recognizance on June 5, 2023.

What laws did the police officer broke?

the 1964 Civil Rights Act

They violated the 1964 Civil Rights Act, or the discrimination law. The police officers on scene felt we should go to jail because we are black and not giving us the justice that we deserved knowing this man was guilty. That we dial 911 for help. They have the power to review McDonald's security cameras. There where too many facts to show he was responsible but because the cops was Hispanic and so was the suspect, they took advantage of the situation because we was black.
